For those of you curious, a couloir is a French word for a long, narrow chute with rocks on either side that in the winter is filled with snow, and where you may find extreme skiers making hair-raising turns. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this four-bedroom residence is a short 5-minute drive to the ski resort and has easy connections to a network of biking and walking trails. The multi-level duplex has abundant space for guests to spread out and enjoy their own pockets of privacy while still having the perfect gathering spot on the main level in an inviting great room, dining area, and kitchen. This open area is made for entertaining and relaxing. Enjoy the warmth from the towering stone gas fireplace that is the centerpiece of the living area. A striking chandelier hangs like a piece of suspended art over the dining table that seats 10. In addition, there are four stools at the kitchen counter, perfect for a quick breakfast or to chat with the chef at work.

A hidden gem, tucked away in Steamboat’s mountain village neighborhood, Waterford offers 3-level townhomes, a short shuttle ride to skiing, shopping and dining. Each townhome has over 2,100 square feet of space to spread out and relax in. Included are a private deck, in-unit washer/dryer, gas fireplace, wireless internet, and private garage. Waterford provides a winter season shuttle to the ski area.

Conveniently located just minutes from both the ski area and historic downtown, Uptown House is a new-build, three-level townhome that melds mountain touches with modern design. It’s the perfect home base for a family or group getaway. The main living space is where natural light pours into the open kitchen, great room and dining area. The galley kitchen has a large island with plenty of prep space and bar seating. A towering, sleek gas fireplace is the focal point of the great room. And the space expands to the outside with a spacious deck featuring a firepit and plenty of outdoor seating.

Gondola Run B is a luxurious home (half of a duplex) that has 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and sleeps up to 16 people comfortably. Located under the gondola, guests enjoy excellent views of the Sleeping Giant Mountain and north valley. Step outside and you are 59 steps from a walking trail that directly accesses the Valley View run. From this point down, an intermediate can readily ski or snowboard Valley View right to the base area. Note that at day's end, returning to this access point requires expert abilities. This home comes equipped with an open kitchen with 2 ovens and 2 dishwashers, 2 master bedrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, gas fireplaces in the living room and in one master bedroom, a pool table and poker table, a large private wrap-around deck with grill and hot tub, and a washer/dryer.

Nestled high alongside beautiful Mt. Werner, the Scandinavian Lodge Condominiums offer easy access (100 yard walk) to the Steamboat Ski Area at a point several hundred feet above the hustle and bustle of the ski area base. A quick, complimentary, winter-only shuttle whisks you from Scandinavian Lodge directly to the Thunderhead chairlift, which transports you straight to the same mid-mountain location accessed by the gondola. Scandinavian Lodge guests enjoy an outdoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna, perfect for hard-earned relaxation after a day on the slopes. Additional complimentary wintertime shuttle service is available to the grocery store or downtown Steamboat Springs, for dining, entertainment and shopping options.
