Family Vacation
The room was spacious and properly appointed. The only issue was no instructions for the thermostat and the room would get uncomfortably warm. The amenities of the complex were nice and it was very convenient to have dedicated shuttle service for the complex. Also, nice to have equipment repair/rental onsite. The front desk personnel were very helpful, professional and courteous. If really a "ski in/ski out" situation as advertised, it was not obvious.

Grand Timber Lodge review
The resort was better than expected and for a fair price. The room was clean and very comfortable, the amenities were really terrific, something for everyone. I didn't like going outside between the buildings and actives, but I did get use to it and worked out just fine. Great people working here, helpful, friendly and quick to help you out. Excellent service by all I encountered.

Great lodge - not so good check in
We stayed at the Grand Timber Lodge on February 2016. For us is was the first time skiing Breckenridge. We liked the lodge, the location and the easy ski in ski out access. Although we asked for an early check in (we arrived at 11am) we could not get into our room until exactly 4pm. Other guests arriving after us got all their rooms, we had to wait until 4pm. It felt strange as they told us the room is not ready again and again. Exactly at 4pm - we were sitting in the lobby and waiting for hours - they said, oh now it's 4 pm your room is ready! So we felt a bit fooled! We complained, but were told that this is the policy and the room was not ready. Other than that we liked the place and location. They had a shuttle to downtown Breckenridge, although we liked to walk which was about 10 minutes. Our room was a bit noisy, but it was no big deal. We can recommend the place although we might look for something the next time.
