Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is located in Blue River, BC, in the heart of the breathtaking open bowls and peaks of the Cariboo, Monashee and Rocky mountain ranges, averaging over 30 feet of perfect powder each winter. Mike Wiegele’s northern latitude helps ensure consistently cold weather creating amazing snow conditions. With more than 1,500,000 acres of terrain and over 1,000 peaks, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the majesty of Canada’s high alpine glaciers as well as the forested valley glades.

Four Unique Lodges

Unique in the heli-skiing industry, the Heli Village allows guests to enjoy the best of the day's powder skiing and then return to one of the log chalets or luxurious estate houses, and some guests are adamant the food alone is worth the trip! The year-round village has all the amenities of a luxury ski resort, in a location you won’t believe.

Blue River Resort:

Guests chalets are within walking distance of all the amenities you would expect from a luxury resort, including complimentary high speed internet.

The Albreda Lodge:

Inspired by the old lodges of Europe, Albreda Lodge was handcrafted from massive timbers and sits 45 km north of Blue River, making it a perfect jumping off point for the most rewarding and challenging terrain. With 17 private rooms and a two-bedroom suite with master bedroom, Albreda is the perfect escape for groups on Private, Semi-Private, Super Elite and Elite packages. This is a boutique lodge that is perfect for those seeking an intimate and exclusive heli-ski experience. Your stay includes complimentary high speed wireless internet, however there is no cellular mobile service.

Bavarian Estate and Cabana:

The 6 bedroom Bavarian Estate House and its 3 bedroom Cabana are the most exquisite examples of log craftsmanship available in Blue River. The Estate is the perfect accommodation for guests in search of refined luxury, a private setting, personalized service, or simply a unique setting for their groups’ heli-skiing adventure. Having a private chef and server is just an added bonus.

Eleanor Lake Estate:

The beautifully handcrafted, 4-bedroom, 9000 square foot estate was originally custom designed for the Wiegele family and is perfect for small groups in search of a private escape that’s close to all of Blue River’s amenities. It is equipped with a master suite, private spa, gym, office, stone fireplace, and library, with vaulted ceilings to add grandeur to the refined finish.

Packages Include:

• 7 day Package Ski weeks run from Saturday with your arrival to the following Saturday. Includes 7 nights accommodation, all meals, ski rental and unlimited vertical feet. Bus transfers between Kamloops and the lodge on the scheduled Mike Wiegele courtesy bus.
• 5 day Package Includes 5 nights accommodation, all meals, ski rental and unlimited vertical feet. Package starts on Saturday and ends on Thursday after skiing, or can start on Sunday and ends on Friday after skiing.
• 3 day Package Includes 3 nights accommodation, all meals, ski rental and unlimited vertical feet. Packages start on Saturday and end on Tuesday after skiing, or start on Tuesday and end on Friday after skiing.
