As you could imagine the Jackson Hole dining scene is chalk full of saloons and restaurants serving mountain fare, but thanks to the insurgence of full-time residents from around the world in the last 10 to 15 years, there are plenty of dining options for every preference and taste. With wide selection of Asian, BBQ, Euro-American and fine dining experiences to choose from you’ll never know you’re nestled in a remote cowboy town, that serves as the gateway to hundreds of miles of rugged wilderness in Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.

    Teton Village Restaurants

The new Spur Restaurant & Bar [OT Link] in the Teton Mountain Lodge is all the rage. It’s quickly become the local hotspot, especially for après dining. Mix and mingle over spicy blood orange margaritas and delicious après appetizers like the elk stuffed peppers or the duck confit spring rolls. Il Villaggio Osteria [OT link] in Hotel Terra is another popular Jackson Hole dining establishment; while the scene isn’t hopping in the same was as some of the bar/saloons in Teton Village, it’s the incredible food that makes this a well-loved restaurant. Don’t miss the wood-oven pizza with goat cheese, braised short ribs or red wine risotto.

For a classic Jackson Hole dining spot, you’ll want to head to the Mangy Moose Saloon. Serving since 1967, you can bet this place has the goods from excellent pub and mountain fare to draft beers.

    Downtown Jackson Hole Restaurants

For Italian fare and locally-loved pizza, you’ll want to spend an evening at Calico. Both their wine list and menu is extensive with incredibly reasonably price points. Don’t miss the BBQ chicken pizza, hearts of palm salad or bruschetta. Next door from Calico you’ll find Q Roadhouse, a favorite barbeque spot. And while it touts barbeque as its specialty Q. Roadhouse’s menu also features some delicious entrees like pan-seared mahi mahi, a buffalo burger and blackened catfish. The fried pickles and hush puppies sides will please kids and adults alike. If you want to eat like a local, it’s all about The Bird on Pub Place. Famous for their fresh-ground burgers, homemade ingredients and German beers on tap, The Bird Old School Bar & Kitchen is simply a crowd pleaser.
