On Northstar time
The resort was beautiful, however everything is when the people at the resort feel like doing it. For example, skiing ends around 4 at the main lodge where the gondola drops you off. If you come back around 4 from skiing there is nothing open for food or drink and management is kicking you out and telling you the last gondola ride back down to the main resort is at 5. Also, there are no water stations readily available on the mountain or anywhere. We were a family with a 6yo (and two beginner skiers), so we had to hurry and gather our things and get ready to catch the gondola. Another example, parking is so far away you have to catch buses, which again run on Northstar time and you are dropped off into a San Francisco like traffic jam. Lastly, there was a snow storm the night before, so everything was covered in snow - even the ice rink. By the way, they give you certificates when you check-in for free skate rental - jokes on you.
