From après-ski to late-night revelry, downtown Park City nightlife offers a myriad of options for those looking to tie it on after a day on the slopes. There are classy clubs where Hollywood’s stars are bedecked in fur and put the “city” in Park City, and there are low-key locals where a flannel is considered dressy and whiskey and Pabst pour freely. Regardless of what you’re looking for during your night on the town, there’s a bar, night club, pub, or hotspot in Park City that will fit the bill.

Popular downtown Park City bars and clubs

The late-night scene in downtown Park City is as good as the cruisers on the mountain, but, be warned, getting up early for fresh turns on the corduroy gets a lot harder after spending a late night in one of the buzzing night clubs in Park City. If you’re in Park City to celebrate something or looking to make the most of you ski vacation with all-night dancing and drinks, here are three Park City night clubs to check out:

The three-stories that make up Silvereach have their own distinct feel and vibe. The sultry ambiance at Silver is created by the glass-walled terrace, the chic dining rooms, and the purple alligator leather bar stools. Hollywood hotshots like Demi Moore and Kate Bosworth frequent Silver because of the urban feel found at this Park City night club.

The Sidecar Bar is Park City’s go-to for live music. Local acts and big-name touring bands grace the stage at Sidecar. The overall feel at this Park City spot is collegiate. Beer pong, late-night pizza (Fat Kid Pizza is insanely good), and packed dance floors are to be expected on any given night at Sidecar.

Downstairs is the spot for young singles looking to mingle in Park City. Danny Masterson, the curly-haired star from “That 70’s Show,” owns Downstairs and has turned the place into the type of club he and his buddies would want to let loose at. The dance floor at Downstairs gets packed, the cocktail waitresses aren’t afraid to dance on the tables, and the DJs spin hip-hop late into the night.

Park City boasted 100 saloons during the silver boom, so you can certainly find historical nightlife hot spots if you go looking. Several of these historical saloons and re-purposed buildings are now Park City locals hot spots thanks to Utah’s recent alcohol-friendly legislation. You might even learn a bit of Park City history from locals, while you enjoy locally-made beers or spirits. For hand-crafted whiskey and good eats, be sure to check out the High West Distillery and Saloon, the first distillery in Utah since 1870. High West is located in a preserved home from the mining era near the base of Town Lift. To enjoy some more historical ambiance, good drafts, friendly locals and their renowned bison burger, head to No Name Saloon on Main Street.

To mingle with locals, sample the well-crafted beers and learn more about Utah’s brewing history visit the Wasatch Brew Pub on Main Street in Park City. You should know that locals, especially the ski bum transplants, have a certain sense of pride regarding the Wasatch Brew Pub. And proud they should be; in 1989 Wasatch Brew Pub was the first brewery to open in Utah, and its owner, Greg Schirf, was active in pushing legislation that made brew pubs legal in the state. These days Wasatch Beers are sold 11 states.

    Downtown Park City après-ski bars

The Park City après-ski scene offers many options for post-skiing enjoyment, but nothing can beat the views or unique mixology cocktails at The Sky Lodge’sSky Blue rooftop lounge and hot tub. The Sky’s heated patio allows for mid-winter outdoor enjoyment and yields stunning, crisp sunsets.

For a more traditional Park City après-ski don’t miss Legends, at the base area in the ground floor of the Legacy Lodge. The food and drinks are reasonable priced considering the high quality and Legends is a great Park City après-ski spot for tired legs, as it’s located in close proximity to the slopes. Be sure to try the well-loved chicken nachos or the Kobe beef burger if you’re worked up an appetite.
